Welcome to the Moore Laboratory in the Department of Cellular and Physiological Sciences at the University of British Columbia. We are a group of scientists and students who utilise super-resolution and high resolution three-dimensional fluorescence microscopy as well as transmission and 3-D electron microscopy to understand structure-function relationships in cells. Our primary interest is in the cardiovascular system but we have had collaborative projects with other laboratories interested in gastroenterology, endocrinology, neurophysiology, ion channels and lipid metabolism.
